I can’t believe it’s been five years since I was an avid Photoshop user. Hopefully this changes soon. I am not a millennial but I relate to them because I am an unemployed thirty year old who has no idea what I want to do with my life. I’m hoping that the Adobe Creative Suite lights a fire under my butt.
My first project was creating two team rosters for the Vincennes University Men’s Basketball program.
For me, David Letterman reminds me of my family. My parents watched his show religiously, as did my Grandparents.
The fact that he chose to close out his final show with the Foo Fighters playing Everlong is icing on the cake. I have distinct memories of this song. Now I have more to add to it.
I was fortunate to travel to NYC last year to spend the week at the Subway Series with my sister and my dad. We took an adventure to the Ed Sullivan Theater so we could go shopping at the CBS store. Once we arrived, we figured out the shop was closed. So we took some photos of the marquee then stopped to grab a bite to eat at the Carnegie Deli. I will remember this day forever.
I don’t know what else to say. Last night was the ending of an era. I spent the entire episode either laughing or in tears or both.
From a fellow Hoosier, thanks for being you, David Letterman.
I cannot stop listening to Seth Avett & Jessica Lea Mayfield’s haunting renditions of Elliott Smith’s songs. Thank you, Seth & Jessica, for introducing me to music I might not have discovered otherwise.
I was lucky enough to catch two of these performances. The first in Charlotte, NC and the second was in Nashville, TN.
